I tested the AI PIN connected assistant (english version, by Rask.ai)

Here is a test of the famous “intelligent” AI PIN assistant from the American start-up Humane. This product is much criticized because it is full of bugs and too expensive, but it is nevertheless super innovative.

The AI-PIN is a hyper high-tech gadget that aims to be an alternative to the smartphone. This concentrate of technology is worn directly on the garment, using a small magnetic battery. Its features include AI-powered personal assistant capabilities, enabling ChatGPT-like voice queries to obtain various information without using a smartphone.

The AI-PIN allows you to take photos and videos, send messages, make calls, read emails, listen to music, take notes and even translate sentences. A unique feature is the ability to project information via a laser projector into the palm of the user's hand, providing a truly innovative experience.

However, despite its impressive features, the AI-PIN suffers from huge technical problems: slow start-ups, low battery life due to the power-hungry laser display, overheating and occasional crashes. Despite these difficulties, the device is a really interesting attempt to rethink our interaction with technology and create a new connected wearable device. Additionally, the device is unfortunately way too expensive: $700 with monthly fees for internet connectivity.

In short, despite its elegant design and luxurious packaging, performance and price issues make the acquisition of the AI-PIN, in its current state, unrecommendable for most consumers, unless you are passionate about technology and ready to overcome technical challenges.
